In the edited clip of 11 seconds one can hear Gandhi say, "Nothing will happen, I will go to London, my children will go and study in America, I have nothing to do with India, I have crores of money, I will go anytime."

The same edited clip was viral on Facebook with the caption in Hindi which translates to, "This is the reality of Gandhi family, They think the people are their father's property, and is threatening that he will move to London and his children will study in America!"

BOOM found that the clipping has been edited from a longer speech that Gandhi made in Latur, Maharashtra on October 13, 2019.
BOOM found that Gandhi was referring to Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi, businessmen wanted by authorities for alleged money laundering and banking fraud which has been edited from the viral video to present a false claim.
In the speech, at the counter 15.10 seconds Gandhi says, "Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi can sleep, without any fear" which has been cropped. (In Hindi - नीरव मोदी, मेहुल चोकसी अच्छी नींद लेते हैं, बिना किसी डर के). He then continues and says, " "Nothing will happen, I will goto London, my children will go and study in America, I have nothing to do with India.
At 15.30 minutes, Gandhi continues the reference to Modi and Choksi and says, "I am Narendra Modi's friend. I have thousands of crores of rupees, I will go anytime. This is the reality of India." (In Hindi - मैं नरेंद्र मोदी का मित्र हूं, मेरे पास हजारों करोड़ रुपय हैं मैं तो कभी भी चला जाऊंगा। यह हिंदुस्तान की सच्चाई है।)
