This gradual retinization process was developed using a series of 12-week safety and clinical studies. "Retinol is a gold standard ingredient when it comes to skin care. Beauty products containing retinol are marketed globally but higher concentration retinol products are commonly associated with potential skin irritation, stinging sensation and peeling as skin acclimates to retinol use.
