| - France's two-time world giant slalom champion Tessa Worley has undergone another operation to clean her right knee joint, the French ski federation announced Tuesday. Worley underwent an arthroscopy of her knee with the aim of cleaning out her joint, which has been badly hampering her on skis, the federation said. Worley, it added, would "quickly" be reintegrated into team rehabilitation, without giving an exact date on her return to competition. The 30-year-old racer, born to a French mother and Australian father, injured her knee in December 2018 and missed a few races last year before undergoing a first "clean-up" operation on her meniscus in April 2019. This season, Worley kicked off with a third-placed finish in the opener at Soelden at the end of October, followed by non-podium places at Killington (5th), Courchevel (11th) and Lienz 8th). rg/lp/cw
