The NFL's Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons reopened their practice facilities Friday after follow-up Covid-19 testing and contact tracing ended scares about playing Sunday. The Colts closed their facility Friday morning after four positive Covid-19 tests were returned but reopened in the afternoon following negative tests. "Four individuals within the organization tested positive for Covid-19," the Colts said in a statement. "The four positive samples were re-tested and have been confirmed negative. After consultation with the NFL and chief medical officer Dr. Allen Sills, the team will open the practice facility this afternoon under the league's intensive protocol." The Colts did not specify if any players were involved or the identities of anyone involved as they resumed preparations to play host to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The Falcons, who closed their practice facility on Thursday after an assistant coach tested positive for Covid-19, said Friday only that they had reopened the facility for workouts after finding no new positives from tests on Thursday. The Falcons (0-5) are set to visit the Minnesota Vikings (1-4) on Sunday. The Colts (3-2) are second in the AFC South division, trailing the unbeaten Tennessee Titans (4-0), a club that has been struck by an outbreak that postponed two games. The Bengals, 1-3 with a tie, are last in the AFC North. js/mw
