New Delhi (Vishvas News) A picture is going viral on social media, in which Shahrukh Khan can be seen anguished. In the picture, Shahrukh’s eyes look red and his beard has also grown. It is being claimed with the post that this is a recent picture and this has happened to Shahrukh Khan after his son Aryan Khan was taken into custody. When Vishvas News checked this post, we found that this claim is fake. The original picture is from 2017. In this picture, Shahrukh’s eyes have been made red with the help of editing tools.

Facebook user Idiotic Minds shared this picture, on which it was written. “Bachche ki Tension”

Investigation
To begin our investigation, we first did a Google reverse image search of the viral image. We found this picture in a 2017 news story on India Today’s website. Shahrukh Khan’s eyes were not even red in the picture used in the news. According to the news, the picture is of Alia Bhatt’s 24th birthday.
We also found this picture in a 2017 report in The Quint with the same description that it is of Alia Bhatt’s 24th birthday. Even in this picture, Shahrukh Khan’s eyes were not red.
Continuing the investigation, Vishvas News got in touch with journalist Smita Srivastava, who covers the entertainment beat for Dainik Jagran in Mumbai. She told us that this picture is not recent, but from 2017.
Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested in a case related to the alleged seizure of drugs during a rave party on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. Full news about this can be read here.
Now it was the turn to do social scanning of Facebook user Idiotic Minds who shared this fake post. We found that the page has 2,338,163 Facebook followers.
Conclusion: When Vishvas News checked this post, we found this claim to be fake. The original picture is from 2017. In this picture, Shahrukh’s eyes have been made red with the help of editing tools.
