New Delhi Vishvas News. A picture of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone holding a child is going viral on social media, with claims that it shows their daughter, Dua, and that they have revealed her face. However, Vishvas News’ investigation revealed that the image is not genuine and was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
What is in the viral post?
On December 21, 2024, Facebook page Starreallife shared the viral pictures with the caption, “Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh With Baby Dua Enjoying Winter.”

Investigation
To verify the authenticity of the viral images, we examined them closely and noticed that the texture appeared unnaturally smooth, giving them an artificial appearance.
For further verification, we used AI image detection tools to analyse each image.
First picture
We checked this picture using the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, which determined there was a 99.4% probability of this picture being AI-created.
Second photo
We also checked this photo using the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, which indicated a 98.8% probability of this photo being AI-generated.
Third photo
Upon checking with the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, it was found that the probability of this photo being AI-generated was 99.7%.
Next, we searched using relevant keywords to verify if Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had revealed the face of their daughter, Dua. Reports suggested that the couple had introduced their daughter to the paparazzi at a private gathering, but photography was strictly prohibited at the time.
Dainik Jagran’s senior journalist Smita Srivastava, who covers Bollywood in Mumbai, also confirmed, “Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had definitely introduced the paparazzi to their daughter Dua in a private gathering, but at that time it was strictly forbidden to take pictures. No picture of Dua has been made publicly available.”
Finally, we scanned the page that shared the post and discovered that the Facebook page ‘Starreallife’ has 42000 followers.
