  • FACT CHECK: Donald Trump Claims That There Is ‘Talk Of Massive Cheating’ In Philadelphia, ‘Law Enforcement Coming’ Former President Donald Trump claimed that there is “talk of massive cheating” in Philadelphia and that “law enforcement coming.” TRUMP: A LOT OF TALK ABOUT MASSIVE CHEATING IN PHILADELPHIA “Law enforcement coming!!!” Source: Truth Social pic.twitter.com/hNkTWGHQbd — Mario Nawfal (@MarioNawfal) November 5, 2024 Verdict: Misleading There is no evidence for this claim. Philadelphia law enforcement has stated it does not know anything about these allegations. Fact Check: Trump said in a Truth Social post that Philadelphia has “law enforcement coming” after claiming there was “talks of massive cheating.” This claim is misleading. A Philadelphia Police spokesperson told Check Your Fact that “[w[e are not aware of anything” and referred Check Your Fact to Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner’s office. Larry Krasner released a statement on Trump’s claim, stating that “there is no factual basis whatsoever within law enforcement to support this wild allegation.” “The only talk about massive cheating has come from one of the candidates, Donald J. Trump. There is no factual basis whatsoever within law enforcement to support this wild allegation. We have invited complaints and allegations of improprieties all day. If Donald J. Trump has any facts to support his wild allegations, we want them now. Right now. We are not holding our breath,” Krasner said. Philadelphia City Commissioner Seth Bluestein also denied the claim on X. There is absolutely no truth to this allegation. It is yet another example of disinformation. Voting in Philadelphia has been safe and secure. pic.twitter.com/wMiPnAgO17 — Seth Bluestein (@SethBluestein) November 5, 2024 “There is absolutely no truth to this allegation. It is yet another example of disinformation. Voting in Philadelphia has been safe and secure,” Bluestein said.
