New Delhi (Vishvas News). Aero India Show was organised in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, from February 10-14, 2025. A video claiming to feature a fighter jet performing amazing stunts is going viral on social media with the claims that it was shot during the event. Many social media users are sharing this video believing it to be from the Aero India show.
However, Vishvas News’ investigation found this post to be fake. This video has been on the internet since March 2024. A Moroccan YouTube channel first uploaded it on March 23, 2024, long before the Aero India show in February 2025. Given this timeline, this video cannot be from the Aero India show.
What is going viral?
Instagram handle ‘rock_on_travells’ (Archive Link) posted a video on February 13, 2025 claiming it was from the Aero India Show held at Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
Investigation
Vishvas News began its investigation by closely analysing the viral video. Upon closely reviewing the video, it was evident that the plane seen in the video was not real. The words ‘Euro Sport 30’ were written on the plane. Taking this as a clue, we investigated through the Google Open Search Tool. Our findings revealed that a company named CARF-Models manufactures such model planes. Their website features several similar planes, designed to be operated with the help of a remote.
Vishvas News furthered the investigation by analysing several key frames of the viral video from different angles using Yandex and Google Lens tools. We found the original video as YouTube shorts by the channel ‘Official Khalid’, uploaded on March 23, 2024. This channel is based in Morocco.
The extensive coverage of the Aero India Show 2025 is available across several platforms, including websites, YouTube channels, and social media platforms of media organisations. Notably, Doordarshan National has shared the event’s coverage on YouTube.
Concluding the investigation, Vishvas News contacted defence journalist Aneesh Singh and shared the viral video with him. He confirmed that the video was fake.
Social media scanning of the handle ‘rock_on_travells’ revealed that the account was created in January 2024 and has around 1000 followers.
Conclusion: Vishvas News investigated and found the viral post claiming to be from the Aero India Show 2025 is fake. The video has been available online since March 2024, whereas the Aero India Show was held in February 2025.
