  • Is a video of President Trump's son Barron Trump singing a song on the show "America's Got Talent" authentic? No, that's not true: The YouTube channel that originally published it said the song and video were created with the help of AI technology. This was confirmed using AI detection tools. There were several signs the video was AI generated such as the fact that the shape of the podium changed throughout the performance and a microphone suddenly appeared from one shot to the next. The video (archived here) was published on February 4, 2025, by YouTube channel ViVO tunes under the title, "Barron Trump Singing in America's got Talent | AI cover |" with following description: Disclaimer: This song and video was created with the help of A.I. technology and does not represent the thoughts or attitudes of the imitated artists in any way. The artist himself was not involved in this production. The purpose of this song is to inspire and spread the message of faith and hope to everyone. Created by ViVO tunes, this heartfelt song takes you on a spiritual journey, reminding us that no matter the struggles we face, Jesus knows our pain, fears, and battles. This track was brought to life with the help of AI technology and deliver a message of love and faith to listeners worldwide. Click below to watch the video on YouTube: Lead Stories ran the first 20 seconds of the video through the AI detection tool at hivemoderation.com. The tool gave the video an aggregate score of 82.2 percent, concluding it was "likely to contain AI-generated or deepfake content": (Source: screenshot of hivemoderation.com results obtained by Lead Stories on February 14, 2025 at 00:24:23 UTC) The video also contained several artifacts that point to the conclusion it was artificially generated. The shape of the podium changed during the performance, steps at the back of the podium appeared and changed width, a microphone seemingly appeared out of nowhere and in some shots a sign appeared above the podium with weird, unreadable lettering typical of AI imagery.
