The video does not show the Mason. The video is from 2013 and shows a missile test from Norway.

The Houthis claimed to have targeted the Mason with an anti-ship missile, according to Reuters. A U.S. official denied that the Houthis hit the ship and a commercial vessel, the Destiny, the outlet reported.
Social media users are sharing a video claiming to show the Mason being hit by a missile. One user wrote, “BREAKING: The #US destroyer ‘Mason’ was precisely hit in the Red Sea. For the first time, the military spokesperson of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier Yahya Saree, announces a direct hit on the destroyer, indicating a shift from warnings to direct targeting.”
This claim is false. The video does not show the Mason being hit by a Houthi missile. Through a keyword and image search, Check Your Fact found that the video is from 2013 and shows a Norwegian missile test.
