  • FACT CHECK: Did Trump Say He Got ‘F–ked Out Of The 2020 Election’ At His Daughter’s Wedding? A post shared on Instagram purports former President Donald Trump said he got “f–ked out of the 2020 election” at his daughter Tiffany’s wedding Saturday. View this post on Instagram Verdict: False The claim is false. There is no evidence to suggest Trump made such a remark. Fact Check: Trump’s daughter Tiffany married Lebanese businessman Michael Boulos Saturday at Mar-a-Lago, The New York Times reported. The couple got engaged on the last day of Trump’s presidency in the White House Rose Garden, according to the outlet. The Instagram post, liked over 20 times, purports Trump said he got “f–ked out of the 2020 election” during his daughter’s wedding. “On this sacred day, as my beautiful daughter Tiffany pledges her undying loyalty to the man she loves, let me take the next 45 minutes to tell you how I got f–ked out of the 2020 election,” the alleged quote attributed to the former president reads. The claim is false. There are no credible news reports suggesting Trump made the remark. Likewise, neither the former president nor Team Trump has mentioned the claim via their verified social media accounts. Tiffany Trump also has not publicly commented on the purported claim. While the quote attributed to Trump is false, the former president did say a few words during a toast at the wedding. “Michael, you better take care of [Tiffany],” Trump told his new son-in-law, according to Page Six. “No doubt, you are a special person and you are way beyond your years. I have seen him dealing with very big people. You are just two spectacular people and this was a beautiful day,” he said, also according to the outlet. This is not the first time a false quote has been attributed to the former president. Check Your Fact previously debunked a social media post claiming Trump said, “You can’t trust a guy named Weisselberg” after the former Trump Organization executive pled guilty to tax fraud.
