  • Did some employees poop in the Lamborghini of a CEO who cancelled the worker's Christmas bonuses -- and then did everyone at the company resign in unison? No, that's not true: This fictional yarn is from a creator who calls his content, "60 Second Sitcoms." He further describes his videos as satire. The story spread from a December 14, 2024, video on TikTok (archived here) to a screenshot on Facebook (archived here) on December 16, 2024. The post was captioned: FIGHT BACK 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪 The text included in the screenshot image reads: a day ago The New York CEO who had his Lamborghini pooped in by his employees after he cancelled their Christmas bonuses has just learned that they have all resigned. Literally every employee from the sales staff to the shipping department emailed in their resignation to the CEO at the same time. 2 days ago This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing: (Source: Facebook screenshot taken on Wed Dec 18 15:07:55 2024 UTC) Because the screenshot does not contain any TikTok account information, the story became separated from the disclaimer that this is satire. Even on TikTok, users not familiar with Robby Witt's style of satire have fallen for this fictional story, told in a rapid-fire newsy style (archived here). On the profile page of @thesephew (pictured below and archived here) Witt describes his content as "60 Second Sitcoms" and "Fictional Stories and Satire." (Source: TikTok screenshot taken on Wed Dec 18 15:44:55 2024 UTC) A Google search for some of the narrative's keywords (archived here) returned a Snopes fact check (archived here) plus links to this December 14, 2024, video on TikTok (archived here) and several follow-up videos on TikTok and on some of Witt's other social media accounts, YouTube and Instagram. There are, however, no credible news stories about a real incident matching the narrative, which hadn't named a company.
