We ran a keyword search and found several news reports about the lawyers fist-fighting from October 2022. Per a Times of India report from October 29, 2022, a fight broke out between two lawyers in a court in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh.
Both lawyers reportedly were at the court to represent their clients in a matrimonial case. However, they entered into an altercation, which soon turned violent. Later an FIR was registered against one lawyer and seven others under sections 147, 323, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The two lawyers were identified as Sunita Kaushik and Yogita Saxena in news reports. Their clients, Parul Saxena and Rahul Bose, were married to each other. Reportedly, Saxena filed the FIR.
In her police complaint, Saxena said that on October 27, 2022, Kaushik and her client hurled abuses at her. When she asked them to stop, Kaushik and her client allegedly pushed and thrashed her. This led to the brawl.
