The video dates back to Feb. 2024 and was taken in Japan, according to The Mainichi. The report claims that the video was taken on Jan. 1, 2024 when the earthquake caused a tsunami. The account that posted a follow up post clarifying that the image was a joke. There was a recent magnitude 6.8 earthquake in Tibet that killed 126, according to CNN. This is not the first time about a disaster has circulated online.
