It appears to stem from an article on a satirical website called “America’s Last Line of Defense.” Its “About Us” page reveals that the outlet is “network of parody, satire, and tomfoolery” and that “everything on this website is fiction.” The article also makes an error in Schiff’s place of representation, marking his state as West Virginia, not California. Check Your Fact found no credible news reports to confirm the screenshot’s claims.
