Fact :Viral video shows Modi interacting with the students of a school in Varanasi, UP and is not related to Delhi or Arvind Kejriwal.
With the Delhi elections round the corner, several prominent politicians are seen participating in political campaigning. The.senior leaders of AAP, BJP and Congress are rallying behind their candidates. The Election Commission of India announced the schedule of Delhi Assembly elections. The voting for all 70 assembly seats in Delhi will be held on February 5, 2025. The election results will be declared after the counting of votes on February 8, 2025.
Several images and videos are doing rounds with false and misleading claims in an attempt to taint the image of the rival politicians. Amidst all this, a video showing Indian PM Narendra Modi interacting with kids in their classroom is going viral with the claim that Modi is visiting schools built by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi and making reels with the kids there.
Some users shared this video with the caption in Hindi “@ArvindKejriwal जी ने कहा था न कि एक दिन मोदी जी को भी स्कूल भेज के रहेंगे. भले रील बनाने के लिए गए , लेकिन गए तो सही वो भी केजरीवाल जी के बनाए स्कूल में. अपना बनाया एक सरकारी स्कूल भी नही दिल्ली के मुकाबले जहाँ रील बनाई जाए. Thank you Kejriwal ji ”. When translated, it claims that @ArvindKejriwal had said that one day he will send Modi Ji also to school Although he went to make a reel, he did go to the school built by Kejriwal ji There is not even a single government school built by us where reels can be made in comparison to Delhi. Thank you Kejriwal ji “

Fact Check:
The claim is False. The video does not show the Indian Prime Minister visiting school in Delhi. The video was shot in a school in Varanasi, UP. When we extracted the keyframes from the video, and searched them using Google reverse image search, we found that the video is from the year 2023, shot as a part of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
We found a short video published by a YouTube channel named Savera News Kashi no.1 on December 19, 2023 with the caption ‘काशी में स्कूल के बच्चों ने गीत गाकर पीएम मोदी जी का किया खास स्वागत’
The video was also shared by another Instagram account named School.ki.duniya. with the caption ‘The school children gave a special welcome to PM Modi by singing a song in the Government School, Kashi. राजकीय विद्यालय,काशी में गीत गाकर स्कूल के बच्चों के द्वारा किया पीएम मोदी जी का खास स्वागत’. This video was shared on December 19, 2023.
Youtube Channel of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared the video with the title “School kids welcome PM Modi with mesmerizing a song in Varanasi”. The description of the video states that PM Modi held a splendid roadshow in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, after which he was given a warm welcome by small school kids. Welcoming the PM, the kids said, "Namaste Ji", '"Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram." Also, PM Modi interacted with the school kids.
The images of the interaction were shared on the website pmindia.gov.in under the page event gallery showing his visit to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh on Decemebr 17, 2023.
Hence, the viral video does not show Indian Prime Minister interacting with kids in Delhi school, the intereaction occurred in a school in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. There is no relation with Delhi or Arvind Kejriwal. The claim is False.
