Vishvas News (New Delhi): A video of a woman is going viral on social media in which she can be seen teaching the ‘tapping’ exercise’. The post is claiming that Tata Memorial Hospital is requesting people to watch the viral video. Vishvas News in its investigation found that the video has nothing to do with Tata Memorial Hospital. A video of an acupressure specialist from Om Sairam Perfect Health, Hyderabad is being shared with a misleading claim.
What’s in the viral post?
In the viral video, a woman can be seen teaching about the tapping exercise. The viral post reads: Tata Memorial Hospital. Request everyone to watch above video without deleting. This is not a normal forward. It is something very important. Request to spread it in your other groups.”

Investigation:
To investigate, we searched the screengrabs of the viral video with the help of Google’s reverse image tool. We found this video on a Facebook page named ‘The Perfect Health Hyderabad‘. There were many more acupressure videos on this page.
We also found the viral video on The Perfect Health Hyderabad website. Here we came to know that the lady in the video is Manisha, an acupressure consultant, and dietician who started this clinic in Hyderabad in 1995. Nowhere in Manisha’s profile does it say that she is associated with Tata Memorial Hospital.
Since the credit for this video was given to Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, we got in touch with the hospital. Dr C S Pramesh, MS, FRCS, Director, Tata Memorial Hospital, Professor, Thoracic Surgery (Surgical Oncology) told us, “The video and text that is going viral is misleading, and this video has no association with Tata Memorial Center and Hospital.”
Finally, we did a social scanning of the profile that shared it. User Gajendra Khedkar has more than 2400 Facebook friends.
Conclusion: Vishvas News in its investigation found that this video has nothing to do with Tata Memorial Hospital. This is from Om Sairam Perfect Health, Hyderabad, an acupressure clinic.
