Referring to the post, A Facebook user claimed, “Can’t make this up…. The Russia/Ukraine war is causing myocarditis in Americans?? Omg. I’m sorry but who believes this!?!? NO. Wake up people. The big \/ causes myocarditis in Americans!! Get it. If you were “\/ak-sin-ated” for (-19 then you have myocarditis and other crazy things happening to your body. Fact Check
Did the CNN report claim that the Ukraine invasion is causing myocarditis?
It does not seem so. No evidence is available online that confirms the CNN report has claimed Ukraine invasion is a coverup for myocarditis due to covid vaccine.
On the reverse image search, we found the shared image in a blog published by the Babylonbee website on March 7, 2022.
The Babylonbee website clearly states, “The Babylon Bee is the world’s best satire site, totally inerrant in all its truth claims. We write satire about Christian stuff, political stuff, and everyday life”.
While searching more about the shared image, we found a CNN interview video that has a similar frame like in the screenshot shared by social media users.
That being the case, the available evidence seems to conclude the screenshot shared by social media users is specifically fabricated to spread disinformation. The Healthy Indian Project (THIP) has also factchecked that an Australian health official did not say covid-19 vaccines have increased deaths due to myocarditis in detail.
