The viral picture has been prepared through editing software. - By: Pragya Shukla - Published: May 25, 2022 at 03:50 PM - Updated: May 27, 2022 at 02:02 PM New Delhi (Vishvas News): A screenshot is being shared on social media with the claim, “The Canadian Ministry of Transportation considers creating an unvaccinated section at the rear of the plane.” The viral claim turned out to be false in the investigation of Vishvas News. No such decision is being taken by the Canadian Ministry of Transport. CTV News did not publish such an article. The viral picture has been prepared through editing software. Claim : One user who shared the image on Twitter said: “Get to the back of the bus you dirty unvaccinated people kind!!!!” Investigation : To know the truth of the viral claim we started scanning the website and the social media account of CTV News. But did not find any report related to the viral claim. We also searched the website through the Wayback archive, but could not find any news related to the viral claim. After this, we searched through several keywords on Google and scanned numerous Canadian news websites, but we could not find any such news anywhere. Taking the investigation further, we compared the viral screenshot with a published article on CTV News. During this, we found that the pattern and handwriting of the viral screenshots is quite different from the ones published on CTV News. For more information, we contacted the Canadian Ministry of Transportation by e-mail. The ministry replied “It has not and is not considering creating designated sections for unvaccinated travellers on federally regulated means of transport.” Vishvas News, in the last phase of the investigation, conducted a background check on the profile which shared the viral post. We found that 4,554 people follow the user.The user has been active on Twitter since February 2009. Conclusion: The viral claim turned out to be false in the investigation of Vishvas News. No such decision is being taken by the Canadian Ministry of Transport.
