No, that's not true: There is no evidence that Musk ever made such a post. There are still posts calling him those phrases on the platform. The claim appeared in a post (archived here) on Threads on November 20, 2024. The post, which was captioned "Elon Musk, the free speech absolutist! lol," included a purported screenshot from Musk's X account. The image read: Accounts calling me fat, 'Elonia', 'The First Lady', saying I can't jump, or pointing out my hair plugs and jawline gender affirming surgery, will be suspended without warning. This is what the Threads post looked like at the time of writing: (Source: Threads screenshot taken on Thu Nov 21 16:22:48 2024 UTC) Searches on X of "Elon Musk" with the phrases "fat" (archived here) and "The First Lady" (archived here) show that plenty of accounts on the platform have not been suspended for using these phrases. The phrase "The First Lady" seems to have been given to Musk by social media users because of his close friendship with President-elect Donald Trump. Lead Stories used X to search for Musk's supposed post. We pulled out the phrases "Accounts calling me fat" (archived here) and "The First Lady" (archived here), neither of which provided any results relevant to the claim. Lead Stories also searched using keywords on Google News (archived here), which found no credible documents or reporting to confirm the claim.
