Fact :The woman in the image is Ottoman Turkish Princess Fatima Neslisah Osmanoglu, not Princess Noorjahan. The image does not show the real-life couple portrayed in Sitaramam movie.

The claim is false. The image does not show the real pair depicted in Sitaramam movie. The woman in the image shows Ottoman Turkish Princess Fatima Neslisah Osmanoglu.
When we searched the image using Google reverse image search, we found the man seen in the image is Lieutenant Ram Prakash Rooperia, who was decorated with Ashoka Chakra.
A Twitter post sharing the same image was posted on X (formerly Twitter) stating “Remembering the Legend LT RAM PRAKASH ROPERIA (ASHOK CHAKRA) 10 June 1959 to 09 June 1984, Sainik School Kunjpura Alumnus, P/990, 1969-76 Batch. He was commissioned in the Indian Army on 19th December 1981 in the 26th Battalion of the Madras Regiment. #operationBlueStar #
According to honourpoint, Lt Ram Prakash Roperia was born in Pali village in Haryana on June 10, 1959.
Lt Ram Prakash Roperia was awarded Ashok Chakra posthumously in 1985.
When we performed a reverse image search using Bing search, we found that the woman seen in the image is an Ottoman Turkish Princess, born on February 2, 1921. She is the paternal granddaughter fatma neslişah osmanoğlu #904845 - uludağ sözlük galeri (uludagsozluk.com)
We also found a YouTube video published on June 5, 2022, with the title “Fatma Neslisah Sultana la última sultana otomana”. This video also shares the viral image.
According to the book ‘Neslishah – The Last Ottoman Princess ' on Google Books, Princess Neslishah Osmanoglu is the granddaughter of the last Ottoman sultan Vahideddin. She was born on February 4, 1921.
According to www.royalwatcherblog.com, she was married to Prince Muhammed Abdel Moneim in the year 1940 and the couple had two children; Prince Abbas Hilmi and Princess Ikbal Moneim. Prince Muhammad Abdel Moneim became the Regent for the baby King Fuad II of Egypt after the July 1952 Revolution, when the Princess became the First Lady of the Court, focusing on charity work and presiding over many sporting events., while Lt Ram Prakash Roperia was born in 1959.
Therefore, the woman seen in the image is not Princess Noorjahan. The claim that the image shows a real-life pair which was depicted in the movie ‘Sitaramam’ is false.
