India Today Fact Check found that this is an old video from 2019. OUR PROBE Reverse searching keyframes of the viral clip led us to a news report about this incident from 2019. According to it, this footage was shot on June 16, 2019, on a flight headed from Pristina in Kosovo, to Basel in Switzerland. Per reports, violent turbulence caused the ALK Airlines Boeing 737’s flight attendant to hit the plane’s ceiling. The terrifying footage was reportedly shot by Mirjeta Basha, one of the passengers aboard. In it, people could be seen quickly putting on their clothing and bracing themselves seconds before a forceful jolt rocked the aircraft. The turbulence then slammed a flight attendant into the ceiling and spilt her craft full of drinks. The aircraft, however, continued for a normal landing and no emergency was declared. According to an ABC news report, 10 of the 121 passengers on board were hospitalised for minor injuries after the plane touched down at the airport in Basel, Switzerland. Several media outlets shared the video in question at the time, reporting the same. While media outlets have shared some visuals from the Singapore flight that was hit by turbulence, it is more than clear that the video in question has no links to it.
