New Delhi (Vishvas News). A picture of actor Shah Rukh Khan with his children, Suhana and Aryan, is going viral on social media. The image features ’2025’ in the background, with some users claiming it to be his New Year photo.
Upon investigation, Vishvas News found that the picture is not real but AI-generated.
What is in the viral post?
On January 2, 2025, Facebook user ‘Reels World’ (Archive) shared these pictures with the caption, “Beautiful picture of Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan.”
Investigation:
To investigate the picture, we closely analysed it and noticed that Shah Rukh Khan’s glasses and cap appeared slightly unnatural, raising our suspicion that the image might have been AI-generated. To verify this, we decided to check the picture using AI image detection tools.
We verified the picture using the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, which indicated a 96.5% probability of the picture being AI-created.
We also checked this picture with another AI image detection platform, SightImagine, which indicated a 99% probability of this picture being AI-generated.
For confirmation, we contacted AI expert Ansh Mehra, who confirmed, “This picture is fake. There are a lot of anomalies in it, like the smoothness of the face, artificial blurring of the background, the shape of Shah Rukh Khan’s hat and eyes, etc. Such an image can be created with a simple prompt.”
The Facebook user ‘Reels World’ who shared the post has more than 23000 followers.
Conclusion: The viral picture of Shah Rukh Khan with his children Suhana and Aryan on social media is not real but AI-generated. Vishvas News’ investigation revealed inconsistencies in the image, which were further confirmed by AI image detection tools.
