India Today Fact Check
This video dates back to 2015 when Israeli forces raided a hospital in Hebron to capture a Palestinian man accused of stabbing an Israeli person.
Israeli special forces on January 30, dressed as civilians and medical staff, entered Ibn Sina Hospital in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin and killed three Palestinian men. While Israel has claimed the targets were members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, experts say this raid is a violation of international humanitarian law.
Meanwhile, CCTV footage allegedly showing this raid has gone viral on social media. In the video, a group of people, some armed, can be seen walking through the corridor of a building. Towards the end of the video, we see bloodstains on the floor and curtains.
An X user wrote, “Another video from the action early in the morning in a joint operation by the Shin Bet and the IDF in Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin that resulted in the elimination of three Hamas terrorists.” The archives of two such posts can be seen here and here.
India Today found that the video dates back to 2015 and shows a different undercover operation carried out by Israeli forces.
