According to the reports, Naik was killed by an unknown man. Vishvas News in its investigation found that all the viral news reports related to Zakir Naik’s death are fake. What’s Going Viral? While sharing the viral post, a Facebook user wrote, “Many thanks to Agyaat ji. This also got resolved.” View the archived version of the post here. Investigation Starting our investigation, first of all we searched for news reports on the issue, but no such article was published on any reliable news website. Further, we scanned Zakir Naik’s verified Facebook page and found a video of him posted on January 14. We found many recent videos of Zakir Naik on the account. The news of Zakir Naik’s death has been viral on social media since January 9, 2024. However, his Instagram and X (Twitter) handles showed videos of Naik posted on the same date and thereafter. We contacted Harsh Deol, co-founder of Malaysia’s Twentytwo13news and Vice President of National Press Club of Malaysia, and he confirmed that there is no truth in the news of Zakir Naik’s death. During social scanning of the Facebook page that shared the viral post, we found that more than 4 lakh people follow this page.
