| - Fact Check: Biden DID NOT behave inappropriately with child, viral pic is photoshopped
A picture of US President Joe Biden with a child was shared with a claim that Biden behaved inappropriately with the boy. However, we found that the viral picture is photoshopped.

This picture is edited. The original image shows Biden touching a child’s t-shirt during his visit to the Capitol Child Development Center in Hartford, Connecticut in October 2021.
Ever since his run for the 2020 presidential election, US President Joe Biden has faced a barrage of accusations of behaving inappropriately with children. One among them is a photo that shows Biden kneeling in front of a boy, with his hands close to the boy’s pants. The archived versions of similar posts can be seen here and here.
AFWA's investigation found that the viral photo was digitally altered.

A reverse search of the viral image led us to the original photo uploaded to the website of the Associated Press in 2021. As per the AP, the photograph was from Biden’s visit to the Capitol Child Development Center in Hartford, Connecticut on October 15, 2021.
We noticed multiple similarities between this photo and the viral one. Every person standing in the background appears to be in the same position in both photos.
The significant difference between the two images is the positioning of Biden’s hands and the point at which the boy stood. The boy in the original photo was cut out and moved up, so as to place his shirt over Biden’s hand. In fact, Biden’s right hand was also cut out. Although it was done so badly, a part of it is still visible if you look closely. At the same time, the other boy standing behind the boy talking to Biden was completely photoshopped out. If you compare the fence and the road in that part of the photos, you can see blurriness in the viral photo there.
A video from the moment where Bident interacts with the child is available on YouTube. Nowhere in this video, can the US President be seen behaving inappropriately with the boy.
Biden has been accused by some adult women of acting inappropriately with them. However, there is no evidence of the US President being sexually inappropriate with children.
It is hence clear that the image in question is morphed and does not show Biden touching a young child inappropriately.
