Quick Take
A video shared on social media claims milk products and papaya mixture can increase breast size. We fact-checked and found the claim to be Mostly False.
The Claim
A Facebook video claims “Foods such as milk products, fruits and nuts can aid in natural breast enlargement. Your breasts are entirely made of fat and consuming whole milk products that are rich in fat can increase breasts size. Papaya mixed with milk increases breast size. However, if you are pregnant, it is not the fruit that needs to be added to your pregnancy diet. Contains a rich source of estrogen that stimulates bigger breasts”.
Fact Check
Can milk products and papaya increase breast size?
It does not seem so. No evidence confirms milk or milk products can increase breast size. In context with milk, we found a study that shows hormones like estrogen and progesterone can increase breast size. As milk contains these hormones, some might believe that milk or milk products increase breast size. However, we could not find any evidence that confirms the claim.
On the contrary, a few studies have highlighted that milk or milk products may cause cancer or lumps in the breast. We need more research to see if the results of these studies are correct.
Likewise, no evidence confirms papaya increases breast size. We found a study that shows papaya may increase breast milk production in lactating women.
Dr Kashyap Dakshini, General Physician, says “Good diet can help promote healthy body weight and frequent consumption of milk may increase breast fibro-glandular volume. In context with papaya, there is no evidence that supports the claim.”
THIP MEDIA TAKE: No evidence confirms milk or milk products and papaya increases breast size.
