Sri Lankan cricketer Muttaiah Muralidharan, famous for his record 800 wickets in the longest format, 534 in the ODIs and 13 in the T20s, had been the bowling coach and mentor of Sunrisers Hyderabad since 2015. Amid news that the former cricketer is producing his biopic titled 800, a social media post has been shared showing a dance movement purportedly of him to the famous Bollywood song ‘Tauba, Tauba’.
The claim reads: “SRH Bowling Coach Muttaiah Muralidharan Vibing To Tauba Tauba”.

FACT CHECK
When Digiteye India team took it up for fact-checking, we checked for the original video on Youtube and the one being shared was uploaded by choreographer Kiran Jopale, whose Youtube channel has more than 1.1 million subscribers and the same can be accessed on Facebook here.
With several videos to his credit, Kiran is known for conducting workshops on Bollywood songs and the video is one among those. Hence, the claim that the person dancing in the video is former Sri Lankan cricketer Muttaiah Muralidharan (also spelt as Muttaiah Muralitharan) is false.
Claim: Cricketer Muttaiah Muralidharan dancing to Bollywood song ‘Tauba Tauba’.
Conclusion: Misrepresentation. The dancing person in the video to the song ‘Tauba Tauba’ is not cricketer Muttaiah Muralidharan but choreographer Kiran Jopale.
