With the help of a few searches, we found a report on a Ghana-based website that featured Drogba's reactions after such posts went viral. Per this report, Drogba denied reports of him converting to Islam and cleared the air by stating that it was just a prayer for his Muslim brothers in his village.
We also found a tweet posted by Drogba himself, where he categorically mentioned that he has not changed his religion.
"This story is going viral but I haven’t changed religion. This was just me paying respect to my Muslim brothers I was visiting in my village. A moment of togetherness. Much love and blessings to all," Drogba wrote while making his religious beliefs clear.
Therefore, it is clear that such claims are nothing but baseless rumours.
