| - Fact Check: Viral Photos Of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone With Daughter Dua Are AI-Generated
A post claiming to show Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone with their daughter Dua has gone viral. However, our investigation revealed that the photos were created using AI tools.

New Delhi (Vishvas News). Two pictures of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are going viral on social media, where they can be seen with a child. Some people are sharing this post and claiming that the girl in the photo with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh is their daughter Dua.
In its investigation, Vishvas News found the viral claim to be false. This photo of Dua with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone going viral on social media is not real; it has been created with the help of an Artificial Intelligence(AI) tool. People are sharing the photo thinking it to be real.
What is in the viral post?
Facebook page ‘Ranbir kapoor fan club’ shared the viral pictures with the caption, “Deepika Padukone & Ranveer Singh First Pic With Dua”.

Investigation
To investigate the authenticity of the viral photos, we conducted a Google reverse image and found them on an Instagram handle named ‘deepikainfinity’. In a post dated December 12, 2024, the image is said to be AI-generated.
We also come across the viral photos on an Instagram handle ‘directbollywoodinfo’. In a post dated December 13, 2024, the image was described as edited.
Taking the investigation further, we analysed the photo using AI detection tools. With the help of Hive Moderation, this photo is identified as 95.5% AI-generated.
We searched the second photo using the decopy.ai tool, which indicated a 91.59% probability of the photo being AI-generated.
We shared the post with Azhar Machwe, a researcher specialising in AI and emerging technology, who confirmed that these pictures are AI-generated.
Finally, we scanned the page that shared the post and found that it has 1.09 lakh people.
Conclusion: A post claiming to show Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone with their daughter Dua has gone viral. However, our investigation revealed that the photos were created using AI tools.
