प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा एक ‘कथित’ टिप्पणी ने भारत में डॉक्टरों के बीच नाराजगी पैदा कर दी है। एक दावा सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है जिसमें यह आरोप लगाया गया है कि डॉक्टर्स को खुश करने के लिए फार्मा कम्पनी लड़कियां सप्लाई करती है। पीएम मोदी क्या आप भरोसा कर सकते हैं कि ये प्रधानमंत्री की भाषा है। ट्विटर पर शाहरूख सिद्दीकी नाम के एक यूज़र ने प्रधानमंत्री पीएम मोदी को लेकर एक ट्वीट शेयर किया है। शाहरुख सिद्दीकी जो खुद को एक हिंदी कवि के रूप में संबोधित करते हैं। सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहे दावे को बॉलीवुड निर्देशक, निर्माता, लेखक, संपादक और अभिनेता अनुराग कश्यप द्वारा भी रिट्वीट किया गया है।
कुछ कीवर्ड्स और टूल्स की मदद से हमने सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहे दावे को खंगाला। Google Search की मदद से हमने सबसे पहले वायरल दावे से संबंधित मीडिया रिपोर्ट को खंगाला। पड़ताल के दौरान हमने वायरल दावे से संबंधित कई मीडिया रिपोर्ट को पाया। वायरल दावे पर हमें BBC का एक लेख मिला। लेख से हमने जाना कि वास्तव में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इस साल जनवरी के पहले सप्ताह में शीर्ष भारतीय फार्मास्यूटिकल्स कंपनियों के साथ एक बैठक में कठित टिप्पणी की है। पीएम द्वारा कथित टिप्पणी करने के बाद इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन ने एक पत्र जारी किया है। जिसमें इस मुद्दे पर प्रधानमंत्री से स्पष्टीकरण या माफी की मांग की गई है।

Indian Medical Association (IMA), highest non-political platform of registered doctors across the country, slammed the Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi demanding apology for allegedly making statements that top pharmaceutical companies bribe doctors with women, gadgets and foreign trips. IMA has also demanded the PM to prove the charges he levelled against the medical fraternity.

New Delhi: The Indian Medical Association, the apex lobby of 3.5 lakh doctors in the country, has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking clarification if the government is planning to take action against pharmaceutical companies that are allegedly bribing doctors and breaching ethical marketing practices.

एनजीओ द्वारा प्रस्तुत 72 पन्नों की रिपोर्ट स्वास्थ्य सेवा उद्योग में अनियमितताओं के बारे में बात करती है। 12 पन्ने पर रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि डॉक्टरों को उपहार, मनोरंजन, विदेश यात्रा और लड़कियां रिश्वत के तौर पर दी जा रही हैं।
हमारी पड़ताल में हमने जाना कि प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा कथित ‘टिप्पणी‘ नहीं की गई थी, लेकिन एनजीओ ने पीएमओ को रिपोर्ट सौंपी थी।
पड़ताल के दौरान हमें ANI द्वारा किया गया एक ट्वीट मिला जिसमें 1 जनवरी 2020 को हुई बैठक में Indian Pharmaceuticals Association ने ऐसी किसी भी चर्चा से इनकार कर दिया था। ANI द्वारा किए गए ट्वीट को यहां देखा जा सकता है।

Industry body Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance on Wednesday said there was no discussion on uniform code for pharmaceutical marketing practice in the meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the healthcare industry on Jan. 1. The meeting was called to discuss future roadmap for growth of the healthcare industry, the IPA said in a statement.
