| - A video showing singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh praising the Uttar Pradesh (UP) administration has gone viral on social media.
The claim: It is being shared to claim that Diljit praised the Yogi Adityanath-led UP administration for the state's infrastructure and arrangements made for the Maha Kumbh Mela.
The clip was also shared by X (formerly Twitter) user '@MrSinha_', who has spread misinformation on multiple instances in the past.
At the time of writing this report, this post had gathered over three lakh views and 20,000 likes.

Is it true?: No, the claim is false.
The clip was taken from a recent live video on Diljit's Instagram, where he was heard praising the state's administration for making good arrangements for his show in Lucknow, saying that Lucknow and Punjab's Ludhiana had the best arrangements.
How did we find out the truth?: We went through the artist's Instagram account to look for the video, and we came across one which showed him wearing the same outfit as the clip in the claim.
This video was livestreamed on 9 February and showed Diljit at his house, interacting with fans on Instagram live.
Halfway through this video, Diljit began responding to a viewers question about his concert in Lucknow, which was on 22 November 2024, and discussed it with another person, who was off-camera.
"I would like to offer special thanks to the UP administration. Everything was great, like arrangements. UP and Ludhiana were great. I don't know how many people were at the UP show, the Lucknow show. I would also like to thank the Sir from the administration there. He supported us a lot. The best arrangements were in UP — thanks to the UP government — and in Ludhiana. These were the best arranged ones."Diljit Dosanjh discussing his concerts in UP and Punjab
He went on to talk about how he faced no issues in Ahmedabad as well, but faced problems in Chandigarh and many other places.
"Some people say, don't talk about the problems. But why shouldn't we? If there are problems, there are problems. If there aren't any, there aren't any. If we don't talk about them, how will there be improvement," he said.
Diljit had also praised the same in an X post after his Lucknow show in November 2024, saying that he got the best arrangements in UP and he was now a fan.
