Akhand Bharat नाम की प्रोफाइल से इस पोस्ट को शेयर किया गया है। जिसमें दावा किया गया है कि श्रीलंका की दो मस्जिदों से भारी मात्रा में दवाईयां बरामद की गई हैं। नपुंसकता और गर्भाशय को नुकसान पहुंचाने वाली इन दवाओं को खाने में मिलाकर लोगों को बेचा जाता है।
पोस्ट में दी गई तस्वीरों को रिवर्स इमेज सर्च करने पर पता चला कि श्रीलंका में भारी मात्रा में दवाईयां तो बरामद की गई हैं लेकिन मस्जिदों से नहीं।
Daily Mirror की ख़बर के मुताबिक STF की टीम ने कोलंबो से एक पिता और बेटे को अवैध तरीके से भारी मात्रा में दवाईयां रखने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। खबर में सोशल मीडिया में गलत दावों के साथ शेयर की जा रही तस्वीरों को भी देखा जा सकता है।ये खबर 2 मई 2019 को छापी गई है।
कई अन्य मीडिया पोर्टल ने भी इस खबर को अपनी वेबसाइट पर प्रकाशित किया है।
गलत दावे वाली ये पोस्ट फेसबुक पर भी देखी जा सकती है, श्रीलंका में हुए बम धमाकों के बाद इस तरह की फेक न्यूज फैलाई गई थी

सोशल मीडिया में किया जा रहा दावा सही नहीं है, शेयर की गई तस्वीरें STF द्वारा श्रीलंका की राजधानी कोलंबो के एक वेयरहाउस में मारे गए छापे की हैं जहां भारी मात्रा में अवैध दवाएं रखी गईं थीं।
