Actually this picture is edited which has been made by combining two different pictures. - By: Pallavi Mishra - Published: Jun 7, 2022 at 12:23 PM - Updated: Jun 7, 2022 at 12:52 PM New Delhi (Vishvas News): A picture is going viral on social media in which the Queen of Britain can be seen passing in front of some youth wearing RSS uniforms. It is being claimed with the post that the picture was taken when RSS volunteers saluted the Queen of Britain. Vishvas News verified the post and found the claim to be false. Actually, this picture is edited which has been made by combining two different pictures. What is going viral Facebook user Mahesh Kumar shared this picture. The text on the picture read “Translated: Britain Mata Ki Jai. This photo is hard to find, should reach every phone. Let everyone know who is the traitor of the country. When the whole country was fighting with the British, some traitors were saluting the Queen of England. I have heard that their descendants call themselves patriots.” View the archived version of the Post here. Investigation Vishvas News searched the viral image on Google reverse image tool. We found this picture of RSS volunteers in a news article published on deccanchronicle.com in 2016. But Queen Elizabeth was not in front of the volunteers in this picture. Vishvas News also found this image on many other websites. Even in the picture here, no one was standing in front of these volunteers. Now we cropped and did a Google reverse image search for the portion of Queen of Britain. We found this photo at thenational.scot/news. In this picture, some Nigerian soldiers were standing in front of Queen Elizabeth II of Britain. Here the caption read “Queen Elizabeth II inspects men of the newly-named Queen’s Own Nigeria Regiment, Royal West African Frontier Force, at Kaduna Airport, Nigeria, during her Commonwealth tour on February 2, 1956.” Vishvas News contacted RSS leader Ayush Nadimpalli in this regard. “This picture is edited,” he said. After this, we checked the profile of Mahesh Kumar, the user who shared the fake post. We came to know that more than 2500 people follow the Facebook user. Conclusion: Vishvas News investigated this post and found the claim to be false. Actually this picture is edited which has been made by combining two different pictures. - Claim Review : Britain Mata Ki Jai. This photo is hard to find, should reach every phone.
