This was a mock drill carried out by police to capture suspected terrorists.
A video of a man, his face covered and hands behind his head, kneeling as he is surrounded by policemen pointing guns at him, is viral on social media. It is being claimed that a terrorist was captured at Hubli bus stand in Karnataka and the entire action was captured on camera.
Several Facebook users have posted the 15-second clip with a caption saying, "Terrorist at hubli bus stand Karnataka state". The location of the video at the bottom left shows "Hubli bus station".

India Today Anti Fake News War Room (AFWA) has found the claim to be misleading. It was a mock drill conducted by Hubli police to capture suspected terrorists.

With the help of InVID and reverse image search, we found a news article about the viral video on Hubballi Times on August 22.
The report confirmed that it was a mock drill and not a real incident. As per the news report, "The drill was an effort by Hubballi-Dharwad police and emergency workers to alert citizens to suspicious elements around them and how to respond should such a situation arise."
The "Hubballi Times" article has a longer version of the viral video.
This news was also published by News18 Kannada on August 23. As per this news article, besides Hubli bus stand, police also carried out a mock drill at the airport.
The viral video created confusion among netizens, many of whom believed it to be a real incident. According to the news report, Hubli police had to clarify that the viral video was a mock drill and part of an awareness campaign for citizens.
