  • Fact Check: Video celebrating release of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "Jawan" trailer by his fans is fake A video clip has been circulating on social media where people appear to be celebrating after watching the trailer of "Jawan" at a club. Claim :A video of Shah Rukh Khan fans celebrating the "Jawan" trailer at a club. Fact :This video is edited and does not show Shah Rukh Khan fans celebrating the release of Jawan trailer. A video clip has been circulating on social media where people appear to be celebrating after watching the trailer of "Jawan" at a club. Some social media users have claimed that this is a celebration by Shah Rukh Khan fans. The footage was shared on X (formerly Twitter) account of a Shah Rukh Khan fan named Ajubhai, with the caption, "This is just the trailer; the movie is still pending, dude. It's going to be a blast in theaters on September 7." Another X account named Anshul also posted a similar video with the same lines. The video was also shared on Liberal TV's official Facebook page. Fact Check : This is an edited video and the people in it have been misrepresented as Shah Rukh Khan fans celebrating Jawan trailer. Upon closer examination of the video, it becomes clear that it's a scene from a club. One side of the scene displays pictures related to football. At first glance, we find it to be a scene from a foreign club. However, after conducting a reverse image search, multiple versions of this video were found. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that this scene was captured at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol, England, in 2016. The video shows the celebration when England won against Wales in the Euro 2016 tournament. It was published on Heart News West County YouTube channel. Bristol Sport official YouTube channel also shared a 1.53-minute video showing the same celebration. This video gives 360 degree view and confirms that the original video is shot at the Ashton Gate Stadium Sports bar. Bristol247.com published the original video which has been manipulated to make the viral video. Upon further searching, it was noticed that Bridgestone City Football Club's website had published an image similar to the scene in the viral video. When comparing the viral video and the actual video, it becomes evident that only the screen footage is edited and used in different contexts. The "Jawan" trailer is also used for promotional purposes. Therefore, the claim is false.
