On taking a closer look, Team WebQoof noticed that Verma's eyes were of two different colours.
Moreover, the image had a smooth texture, which is another feature that is commonly spotted in AI-generated images.
We passed the image through two detection tools namely — Sight Engine and Hive Moderation to verify its authenticity.
Both the tools showed substantial probability of the image being an AI-generated one.

As seen in the above image, this photograph had an evident smooth texture as well. This indicated that the picture might be generated using the help of AI tools.
This was further made clearer when both the tools showed high chance of the image being an artificial one.
While the first tool gave 99 percent, the second one showed a little over 88 percent probability of the photograph being AI-generated.
Conclusion: It is evident that these images are not real and have been generated using AI.
