A video shared on Facebook purports Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene “humiliated” New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “to her face in Congress.”

The video’s caption is inaccurate. The nearly 30-minute video shows Greene making a speech about President Joe Biden’s Green New Deal on the House floor, but does not “humiliate” Ocasio-Cortez before Congress.
Fact Check:
Greene received social media backlash for taking a recent vacation to Costa Rica amid power outages in her home state of Georgia as well as a Congressional address from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Newsweek reported. Greene was also criticized by members of the “far-right” after disavowing white supremacist Nick Fuentes, according to The Daily Beast.
The Facebook video, viewed 13,000 times, purports Greene “humiliated” Ocasio-Cortez “to her face in Congress.” The video’s caption reads, [SH0CKING]: Marjorie Taylor Greene HUMILIATES AOC To Her Face In Congress.”
The claim is false. There are no credible news reports suggesting Greene “humiliated” Ocasio-Cortez. Likewise, there is no mention of the claim on Ocasio-Cortez’s website or her verified social media accounts. In addition, Greene also has not publicly commented on the purported claim.

Greene opens her speech by mentioning how the Green New Deal is a real piece of legislation with real-world implications and not just a “high school project.” Greene continues, saying the Green New Deal represents an “America Last” agenda and truly only serves Communist China’s interests.
Though Greene says Biden is listening to Ocasio-Cortez and other members of the “climate police” within the Democratic Party, she does not “humiliate” the New York representative before Congress. Check Your Fact Greene’s office for comment, but a spokesperson declined to comment. Check Your Fact has also contacted Ocasio-Cortez’s office for comment and will update this piece accordingly if one is received.
