New Delhi (Vishvas News). Following the recent attack on Saif Ali Khan, he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. However, some people are linking this to a collage featuring Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Saif Ali Khan, falsely claiming that Salman Khan visited the hospital to meet Saif.
Pictures of Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli, and Anushka Sharma are also going viral with the same misleading claim.
Vishvas News’ investigation revealed that these viral pictures have been created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and are being shared with false claims, believing them to be real.
What is in the viral post?
Facebook page ‘Khabar Punjab’ (archive link) shared the viral post with the caption, ” Saif Ali Khan’s pictures from the hospital have surfaced. Salman Khan also reached the hospital. #BollywoodActor #SaifAliKhan #PicturesViral #HospitalSurface #KareenaKapoorKhan #salmankhan”
Facebook user ‘Mufeed Khan’ shared Shahrukh Khan’s picture with the caption, “Reached the hospital to meet Saif Ali Khan #suhanakhan with Suhanakhan”
The Khabar Punjab page shared the pictures of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli with the caption, “Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have come to visit Saif Ali Khan in the hospital.”
Investigation
To verify the authenticity of the viral claim, we conducted a Google search using relevant keywords and found no credible media report supporting the viral claim.
Upon investigating further, we carefully analysed the pictures and noticed some anomalies. In one of Kareena Kapoor’s photos, the shape of her fingers was unusual, whereas in a photo of Salman Khan, only four fingers were seen on one of his hands. These inconsistencies indicate that the viral photos are not real, but AI-generated.
Additionally, we spotted a logo labelled ‘Grok‘ in the image. After conducting a Google search, we discovered that Grok is an artificial intelligence chatbot, developed by xAI.
We analysed the photos using AI detection tools to verify their authenticity. We uploaded these photos to the Hive moderation tool, and the results estimated a 67% probability of the first photo being AI-generated, 54% for the second, 99% for the third, and 90% for the fourth photo.
Additionally, we ran the collage through another tool, AI Site Engine, which determined a 90% probability of the collage being AI-generated.
Shahrukh khan
We analysed Shahrukh Khan’s photo using the Site Engine tool, which indicated an 87% probability of being AI-generated.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma
We analysed the images using the tool Hive Moderation, which indicated a 99% probability of the first image being AI-generated, 99% for the second image, and 97% for the third image.
We shared the viral post with AI expert Azhar Machwe, who confirmed that the images are AI-generated. He stated, “These images are not real and the discrepancy in the images created with the help of AI can be seen.”
Finally, we conducted a social media scan of the page that shared the post and discovered that it has over 1000 followers.
Conclusion: The viral pictures of Salman Khan allegedly visiting Saif Ali Khan in the hospital are not real. Vishvas News’ investigation revealed that these pictures were created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and are now being circulated with false claims.
