The most recent version of the post read: BREAKING: Marjorie Taylor Greene says if every member of Congress had to resign for doing what Matt Gaetz has been accused of, 'Democrats would have a supermajority.' This is what the post looked like on X at the time of writing: (Source: X screenshot taken on Sat Nov 23 16:13:10 2024 UTC) Gaetz, who resigned from the U.S. House of Representatives, then withdrew from consideration as the pick for U.S. attorney general, was under investigation by the Department of Justice and the House Ethics Committee, most notably for potential sexual misconduct. The X account that posted the alleged Greene quote, The Halfway Post, is a self-described satirical account. The bio of the account reads: DADA NEWS. Halfway true comedy and satire by @DashMacIntyre.
