The caption reads, “Here’s an ad for the Biden campaign free of charge.” The claim is inaccurate. The video is taken out of context. The full video shows Trump talking about Putin’s endorsement of Biden. Trump was commenting on Putin’s comments, stating that Biden would be “better for Russia,” according to NBC News. The outlet reported Putin claimed is the more experienced politician and therefore the better choice to his potential general election opponent Trump In the full video Trump stated that as president he kept Russia from operating the Nord Stream pipeline to Germany. Biden then approved the use of the Nord stream pipeline for Russia in 2021, according to Financial Times.
