  • FACT CHECK: Did Joe Biden Offer Zelenskyy A ‘Stake In The United States?’ A post shared on Facebook claims President Joe Biden promised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a “Stake in the United States” if he continues the war with Russia. Verdict: False The claim stems from a satirical website. There is no evidence that this conversation took place. Fact Check: Biden has recently announced new sanctions against Russia at the G7 Summit for their continued fighting in Ukraine, USA Today reported. Other world leaders also responded to Russia’s latest threat of the use of nuclear weapons, threatening Russia would face “severe consequences” if they engage in nuclear warfare, the outlet reported. The Facebook post claims Biden promised a “stake in the United States” to Zelenskyy if he continued the war with Russia. The post credits the story to Michael Baxter on Feb. 20. “Illegitimate President Joseph R. Biden has promised Volodymyr Zelenskyy ‘a stake in the United States’ as a reward for ‘staying the course,’ according to audio Russia’s Federal Service Bureau (FSB) obtained shortly after Biden’s fake Air Force One landed in Kyiv Monday morning,” the post reads. This claim is baseless. There are no credible news reports suggesting any such recording exists or that Putin obtained information on what was said between Biden and Zelenskyy. There has been no press release from the White House that refers to any such conversation. Likewise, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has not addressed this claim on her verified Twitter account. The post stems from an Aug. 29 article on the Real Raw News website. The site’s “about us” page identifies itself as containing “humor, parody, and satire.” (RELATED: Does This Video Show A UFO In Poland?)
