Il filmato è accompagnato da questo commento: «No, non è il Pakistan. Questa è la #Francia.». Si tratta di un contenuto fuorviante, che veicola una notizia falsa. Il video è reale, ma non è stato registrato a luglio 2024 in una città francese. Il filmato circola in Rete dagli inizi di maggio 2022 e, come verificato all’epoca dai fact-checker di Associated Press, la scena mostra migliaia di musulmani che pregano nei pressi della moschea cattedrale di Mosca, in Russia, durante la celebrazione dell’Eid al-Fitr del 2 maggio 2022, la festività religiosa che segna la fine del mese del Ramadan.
