New Delhi (Vishvas News). The ongoing Mahakumbh festival at Prayagraj has attracted many national and international visitors. Amidst the buzz, several photos featuring World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestlers have gone viral on social media, with claims suggesting they attended the Kumbh.
Vishvas News investigated and found that these images are generated using Artificial Intelligence.
What is in the viral post?
A Facebook page ‘Manish Sharma’ shared pictures of WWE wrestlers Dwayne Johnson and Ronda Rousey on January 24, 2025 with the caption, “Dwayne Johnson and Ronda Rousey at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj Rousey”
Similarly, a Facebook page ‘Crafty Creation Hub’ also shared pictures of WWE wrestler John Cena and Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt on January 24, 2025 and claimed “John Cena and Alia Bhatt at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj.”
Facebook page ‘V P Singh’ shared John Cena and Brock Lesnar’s pictures on January 25, 2025 and claimed: “John Cena and Brock Lesnar at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj.”
Similarly, the Facebook page ‘All fitness update’ shared WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s pictures on January 25, 2025 claiming, “Brock Lesnar and Anushka Sharma at Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj.”
Investigation
We closely examined the pictures. The facial features, smoothness, and background blur suggested they were AI-created. To verify this, we decided to check each post individually using AI detection tools.
Photos of Dwayne Johnson and Ronda Rousey
We checked these photos with the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, which indicated a 98-99% probability of the image being AI-generated.
We checked these photos with another AI image detection tool Sightengine, which indicated a 98-99% probability of the image being AI-generated.
Photos of John Cena and Bollywood Alia Bhatt
AI image detection tool Hive Moderation indicated a 98-99% probability of these photos being AI-created.
We verified these photos using another AI image detection tool, Sightengine, which showed a 99% likelihood that the image is AI-generated.

We cross-checked these photos with another AI image detection tool, Sightengine, which indicated a 99% chance that the image was AI-generated.
Photos of Brock Lesnar and Anushka Sharma
We checked these photos using Hive Moderation, which determined an above 87% probability of these photos being AI-created.
We analysed these photos using another AI image detection tool, Sightengine, which suggested a 99% probability that the image was AI-generated.
We also spoke to AI expert Ansh Mehra, who confirmed that these photos are AI-generated. Upon carefully analysing the background, facial smoothness, and shape, it is clear that the pictures are not real.
Next, we searched using relevant keywords to check if any of these WWE stars had attended the Maha Kumbh 2025. However, we found no credible news or reports to support this claim.
The user ‘All fitness update’ who shared the viral post, has over 1.5 lakh followers. The page ‘Sangram Chougule fan club’ has around five lakh followers, ‘Crafty Creation Hub’ has over 55000 followers, and ‘Manish Sharma’ has over 6000 followers.
Conclusion: Vishvas News’ investigation revealed that the viral pictures claiming to show WWE wrestlers at the Kumbh are fake and AI-created.
