Fact Check: The viral video about bomb at Delhi metro was not a mock drill
DCP (Railways and Metro) Dinesh Kumar Gupta confirmed to India Today that somebody informed the police about suspicious elements near McDonald's but after the investigation, the police found some mobile batteries in a packet which didn't pose any threat.

A video is doing the rounds on social media with the claim that police found a bomb at the Dilshad Garden Metro station in Delhi.
In the video, some police personnel along with a fire brigade can be seen outside the Metro station.
In the background, a person can be heard alerting people about a bomb being found at the Metro station.
Among others, the video was posted by Facebook page 'Rajsar Foundation Since 2017'.
India Today Anti Fake News War Room (AFWA) has found the claim to be misleading.

The video has already been shared in thousands from different social media platforms.
Some netizens and Alt News suggested that the video was apparently of a mock drill.
We found that the incident was neither a mock drill nor any bomb was found at the Metro station.
According to NavBharat Times and Dainik Bhaskar, the police got information about the presence of a bomb near McDonald's at Dilshad Garden Metro station. When the police with the bomb squad reached the station, they only found some mobile batteries in a packet. The police didn't find any suspicious thing at the site.
