  • FACT CHECK: Post Falsely Claims Trump And Biden ‘Both Died Years Ago’ A post shared on Instagram purports former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden “both died years ago.” View this post on Instagram Verdict: False The claim is false. There is no evidence supporting the claim. Fact Check: Biden recently took a shot at Trump for sitting for “softball townhall [events],” according to Politico. Despite calling out his predecessor during town hall events, Biden did not attack Trump over his recent indictments, The New York Times reported. “Donald Trump and Joe Biden both died years ago. They are being impersonated by someone or ‘something.’ Secretly working for China Russia and some Arab nations to decrease the strength of America in many ways. Many others too. Senators, Generals. Bodysnatchers and clones,” the Instagram post, liked over 300 times, purports. The claim is false, however. First off, there are no credible news reports indicating Trump and Biden “both died years ago.” If both the former president and current president had actually died, it would be a major news event and multiple media outlets would’ve covered it, yet none have. Trump spoke at Turning Point Action’s annual summit on July 15, and Biden visited the Philadelphia Shipyard on July 20 to make an announcement about clean energy. In addition, both the former president and current president have been the subjects of breaking news headlines, with Trump facing two indictments and Biden facing allegations of corruption involving himself and his son, Hunter. Furthermore, both presidents remain active on social media, with Trump promoting a screening of the new film, “Sound of Freedom,” at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf course and encouraging supporters to donate to his 2024 campaign via his TRUTH Social account. Additionally, Biden recently touted his “Bidenomics” economic agenda and Jul. 18 visit with Israeli President Isaac Herzog via his government Twitter account. Check Your Fact has contacted a Trump spokesperson and the White House for comment and will update this piece accordingly if one is received.
