(Source: TikTok screenshot taken on Tue Jul 18 14:50:00 2023 UTC) Russian military convoys have regularly used the bridge to transport aid in the form of vehicles, armor and fuel for their full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russia used the Crimean railroads to bring supplies to army regiments in Kherson. The Kerch Strait Bridge and military areas in occupied Crimea are therefore legitimate military targets for Ukrainian troops in their defense against the Russian invasion, according to the Institute for the Study of War.
