A shocking video of a man apparently defecating inside a moving rapid transit train was widely shared by social media. Here's what you need to know about it.

This video is not from Turkey but from New York City. It shows a YouTuber named Princezee pulling a prank on the other commuters.
Not every day does one see a sight this bizarre! A video that’s been widely shared online shows a man inside a rapid transit train producing what looks like a portable toilet bowl from inside his bag, taking off his pants, and sitting on it. Other passengers in the coach can be seen dashing away in disgust immediately.
Some, who shared the video, claimed it was from Turkey. A tweet containing the clip said, “viral video from Turkish [sic]. No place is Secure from them. Those who give knowledge of the Quran. Thank god that No such video of Delhi Metro has come yet.” The archive version of the tweet can be seen here.
India Today's investigation found that this was a prank, not from Turkey but from New York City in the US.
Our Probe
A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led us to an article published on a lifestyle website called “World of Buzz” on May 9, 20219. The cover image of this story featured screengrabs from the viral video, making it clear that it was four years old at least.
The report mentioned that the man seen in this video was Zeeshan Ali, a YouTuber who often records himself pranking people on the subway and is quite popular on social media. An advanced search with relevant keywords led us to a bio of Zeeshan Ali published in “Wiki Sportskeeda”, noting that he is known online as “PrinceZee”.
Subsequently, we found the verified YouTube channel of PrinceZee, which contained several videos of him pulling pranks on others. The “About” section of the channel noted that the channel is based in the United States.
We found the extended version of the viral clip uploaded to this channel on May 29, 2019. Around the 20-second timestamp of this video, he spoke about problems he has been facing due to the lack of toilets while commuting to work in the New York City subways. This was followed by the viral clip.
But did he defecate inside the train? After watching the complete video, it becomes clear that he did not. Another video of him taking a bath in the NYC subways was recently shared with people claiming it was from the Delhi metro. Here is our fact-check report debunking that claim.
