New Delhi (Vishvas News). Claims about Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been going viral on social media with some pictures being shared in connection with this. In the images, Sonakshi can be seen wearing a burqa, leading many users to think they are real.
Vishvas News found in its investigation that the viral picture is not real, but was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI). People are sharing these AI pictures with false claims thinking them to be real.
What is in the viral post?
Facebook user Vijay Chand Maurya (archive link) shared the viral post on February 5, 2025, with the caption, “Sonakshi Sinha used to post very few photos earlier.
But ever since she got married to Zaheer Iqbal, she keeps sparking the fans’ enthusiasm and posts photos daily. Today Bhabhi posted a photo in a burqa with Zahid Iqbal Bhai.”
X-user Shahid Chaudhary also shared the post with a similar claim.
Investigation
The viral post claims that these pictures were shared by Sonakshi Sinha. To verify the authenticity of these pictures, we started the investigation by checking Sonakshi Sinha’s social media handles. However, we found no such post related to the viral images.
We also searched Zaheer Iqbal’s social media handles and found no posts related to the viral images.
To further investigate, we analysed the photos using tools to detect AI-generated media. We first analysed the pictures using the Hive moderation tool, which showed an 86.7% probability that they were AI-generated.
Next, we analysed the images using DCopy, which indicated a 94% probability of the images being AI-generated.
Finally, we analysed the photo using the AI Site Engine, which indicated a 99% probability of the photo being AI-generated.
We shared the post with AI expert Azhar Machwe, who confirmed that the images were AI-generated.
Fact check reports related to AI and Deep Fakes can be accessed in the AI section of the Vishvas News website.
Finally, we scanned the profile of the user who shared the post and found that he has over 6000 followers.
Conclusion: Vishvas News’ investigation revealed that the viral claim about the pictures of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal is false. These pictures have been created using AI and are being falsely shared as real.
