AFWA Probe A reverse search of keyframes from the viral video on Yandex led us to a report carrying a screengrab from the viral video. It stated that a shocking incident took place at a wedding in Brazil, where a helicopter carrying the bride for her big entry crashed before landing. It further mentioned that the bride and pilot managed to escape from the chopper and there were no casualties. Further searches led us to a news report on the incident by the Mirror from May 2018. It reported that the helicopter carrying the bride crashed in the middle of the wedding venue — a vineyard north of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The couple, however, decided to go ahead with the nuptials. Estadao, a daily newspaper published in Sao Paulo, also shared the viral video stating that three people were injured in the accident. We also found a tweet about this helicopter crash on the official Twitter page of the Fire Department of the Military Police of Sao Paulo. There, too, no mention of any casualties was found. Reporting this incident on May 5, 2018, a leading Brazilian news portal G1 stated that there were four people in the chopper — the pilot, a child, a photographer, and the bride. Three people suffered minor injuries while the bride was unharmed. The report also carried video footage of the couple continuing with the wedding ceremony post this accident. While this grand wedding entrance did go through a huge hiccup, however, those aboard the chopper had a miraculous escape.
